Day 25 marked our farewell to the West Coast and the start of a new kind of adventure; full of lights, laughter, and a little magic.
We kicked off the day with one last In-N-Out stop — a now-beloved GWT tradition — for burgers and a final toast to California before heading east.
Next stop? Las Vegas!
We explored the shops and sights at the Venetian, where students grabbed food, wandered through the Grand Canal, and took in the over-the-top energy of the Strip.
But the real showstopper came later: we attended a performance by Piff the Magic Dragon, a wildly fun and quirky magician (and former America’s Got Talent finalist). The group had a blast, and the highlight? Merritt got called up on stage… and was challenged to retrieve her Apple Watch from a peanut butter jar trapped inside a jello mold. It was as ridiculous and hilarious as it sounds.
To end the night, we walked to the Bellagio fountains, where the iconic water show gave us a sparkling Vegas sendoff.
With just a few days left, everyone’s soaking in every moment. Big laughs, new places, and stories we’ll be retelling for a long time. Below, check out some of our recent favorite photos from the last couple of weeks!
