TRIP UPDATES
We spent the morning driving once again, stopping for lunch on the road before rolling into the city. Once we got checked into the hotel, we made our way to the Venetian for some shopping and dinner. A bunch of us grabbed t-shirts, and we all got a kick out of watching the gondoliers singing and rowing along the resort's indoor canals. Only in Vegas!

We started at the world-famous San Diego Zoo, and wow, it is huge. We got to see all kinds of amazing creatures, from pandas and elephants to tapirs and capybaras. Some of the biggest highlights were watching the hippos bathe underwater through the glass windows and the orangutans doing somersaults and lounging in their hammocks. We had plenty of free time to wander the grounds, take in the animals, and grab lunch. A few of us even hopped on the gondola for a beautiful bird's eye view of the zoo from above.

Today with The Grand Western Tour was one we had all been counting down to. We spent the whole day at Disney, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We tried all the rides we could get to, and a few quickly rose to the top of the list. Space Mountain was a huge favorite, along with Indiana Jones and Star Wars Rise of the Resistance. And for anyone looking to cool off, Tiana's Bayou did the trick, sending more than a few of us home a little soaked and a lot happy.
