Jet Boats, Mini Donuts & a Dock Day Done Right: Day 18

Gold Beach, OR

Day 18 was everything we needed – adventure in the morning and relaxation in the afternoon.

We kicked off the day with a late morning and mini donuts (yes, they were as good as they sound), then met our jet boat at the dock for an exciting ride up the river.

Andy, our guide, was both fun and informative, sharing stories about the local history and wildlife, plus delivering some thrilling spins and splashes along the way. We stopped for lunch upriver, soaking in the views and the sun.

The afternoon gave everyone a chance to recharge in their own way, sunbathing on the dock, soaking in the hot tub, walking across the bridge for ice cream or coffee, playing games, and just enjoying each other’s company.

We wrapped it all up with pizza for dinner and ice cream to follow, a sweet ending to a day full of connection, laughter, and laid-back fun.
