Ranch Goodbyes, bull rides, and the Rodeo: Day 11 Recap

Rodeo

As we move into the final leg of our journey, the past two days have been full of heartfelt goodbyes, wide-open Western experiences, and a whole lot of charm.

Day 11 started off slow and sentimental; no one was quite ready to say goodbye to the ranch. After such a memorable stretch there, it was hard to pack up, but spirits lifted quickly with a stop at Broulims to restock on all the road trip essentials: snacks, soda, and trail treats.

In the afternoon, we toured the Jackson Hole Fish Hatchery, where we learned about local conservation efforts and Sawyer even got to feed some trout! Afterward, we had a bit of free time to wander downtown Jackson, take in the shops, and grab a treat or two before the evening’s main event.

The rodeo that night was a major highlight! From bull riding and bareback broncs to barrel racing and team roping, the excitement was nonstop. The kids cheered loudly and were thrilled when the rodeo clown tossed out some free merch, the boys especially had big smiles.
