Today was one of those classic road trip days – miles of open road, good company, and plenty of gas station snacks to keep the energy up. Kansas greeted us with endless fields, flat horizons, and a little bit of rain, but the group didn’t mind one bit.
On the bus, Cars was today’s movie of choice, fitting for a day spent rolling down the highway! Between movies, naps, and snack breaks, everyone settled into the rhythm of travel life together.
One of the best moments today came from William, who summed up exactly what makes this trip so special: “It’s crazy. It’s only been three days but I feel like I’ve known some of these people for months.” Watching these connections grow is truly what the Grand Western Tour is all about.
We wrapped up the evening with a delicious dinner at Carrabba’s (always a crowd-pleaser) and topped it off with some frozen yogurt for a sweet ending to a quiet day on the road.
Tomorrow brings more adventure, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
