Tree Hugs, Bridge Views & In-N-Out Smiles: Day 19 on Tour

Today brought us some true West Coast magic with towering trees, iconic bridges, and a stop that many had been waiting for.

We spent the afternoon wandering among the Redwoods, where the group was in awe of just how massive and majestic these ancient trees are. Many couldn’t resist the chance to try to hug a Redwood, it’s harder than it sounds! A peaceful picnic lunch gave us time to soak in the beauty of the forest before hitting the road again.

Next up: crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, a major moment and a surreal feeling as we entered San Francisco. The city welcomed us with sunshine and something else the group had been buzzing about: In-N-Out Burger.

Dinner was a hit, and several students grabbed t-shirts to mark the occasion; a rite of passage, really. A few capped off the evening with a spontaneous ride on the Ferris wheel, ending the day with high views and big smiles.
