Wow San Antonio is Texa-llent!

We arrived in downtown San Antonio after a short drive from Sonora. The kids learned about the Alamo at an IMAX movie in the AMC theater; the film tells the story of the famous battle Texans fought for their freedom. Immediately after we viewed the film, we took a field trip to the Alamo battlefield outside of the theater, saw all its history, and shopped in the gift store.

It was hot in San Antonio, but we had a blast! We had some free time to explore the city and grab lunch with our friends. The kids walked along the Riverwalk and hopped on boat tours, while some sipped on Starbucks drinks and shopped around the mall.

We went to Dave & Buster’s for dinner, and our meal was delicious. The kids were also given game chips to play in the arcade with their friends. They had so much fun and created so many memories!

Tomorrow we will visit New Orleans!
