Mesa Verde: Foundations of Pueblo Architecture

Durango, CO

Today we went to Mesa Verde National Park, where a tour guide met us on the bus and told us about the old settlements in the area. He took us on a tour of the old pit homes around the park and gave us lots of information about how the people lived. We even learned about the local plant life and the medicine they used to make with them.

After that we went to a laundromat to wash all of our clothes. Then after the laundromat we had a few hours of free time to tour the town of Durango by ourselves in our groups. We all went and had dinner at different places, and some of us even played piano in the street.
