Arch Adventures & Poolside Laughs: Day 2 Highlights

Our second day on the road has been just as fun-filled and full of laughs as the first. We kicked things off with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before loading up the bus right on schedule- this group is already proving they know how to travel well together!

Today’s ride was made even better with a classic movie pick: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off kept everyone entertained as we made our way toward our next adventure.

A big highlight today was getting to see Abbey’s hometown! She did a fantastic job being our local guide, showing off the famous arch and teaching everyone how to “blend in,” apparently, the trick is to say “Wow, there it is” every time you catch a glimpse of it. Safe to say, everyone’s got it down now!

The whole group went 631 feet up inside the arch, and according to Watts, that officially makes him the tallest man in Missouri (we’ll let him have this one!).

On the way back, we made an essential snack stop at Casey’s General Store – stacks of treats and icees all around. Then it was off to Freddy’s for a well-earned dinner, followed by some downtime and a pool party back at the hotel to wind down the evening.

Smiles, stories, and a little splash of adventure made today one to remember. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings, stay tuned!
