Jumping into Kansas!

We departed from St. Louis early in the morning as we had a long drive to the third destination, Salina KS. Accompanied by lots of singing, laughter, and fun trivia games, we arrived at our first rest stop. During the lunch break, students enjoyed a delicious meal at Chick-Fil-A or Raising Cane’s.

As soon as we woke up from a little nap on the bus, we were surrounded by beautiful green hills and endless fields! Salina, KS is the trading center for a large wheat-growing area, and grain milling is the chief industry. This has brought us some epic views.

Moments later, we arrived at our hotel, dropped our bags and left for Sky Zone trampoline park! Many joined a competitive jumping dodgeball game; some showcased their gymnastics skills as they danced in the air; some tried out the rock climbing wall. All in all we got our wiggles out! Finally, we wrapped up the day with a pizza party. What a fantastic day!

Tomorrow, we will visit Colorado Springs and check out the Air Force Academy!
