2023 Session One

Let the Games Begin!

We started off the day with a late wake up, and we were all happy to sleep in. Then it was time for Field Day after breakfast. Our field games started at 10:30 and we played things like water balloon toss, three-legged race and egg on a spoon.

Our drive from Idaho to Wyoming was cool as we passed through the palisades. We got to Jackson Hole and had lots of free time until we got dressed up to go to the rodeo. The rodeo was super cool as we watched bull riding and barrel racing along with little kids riding sheep. We got back to the hotel pretty late and everyone went to their rooms to go to sleep. Another great day!

FUN FACT OF THE DAY: Jackson Hole was originally named after Davey Jackson, a mountain man who trapped in the area during the late 1800s. “Hole” was a term used in that day to describe a high mountain valley.
