Nothing But Sunshine in 'Rain City'

Seattle, WA

Today, we woke up in Seattle, WA. We grabbed a quick breakfast in the hotel lobby then hopped on the bus to enjoy a guided tour of Seattle. A tour guide joined us on the bus and we drove around the city enjoying scenic views and exploring famous landmarks.

After the tour, we were able to choose small groups to walk around with and explore the city, which included a visit to Pike Place Market. The day consisted of lots of shopping and finding cool places around the city. After a long (but fun) day exploring the city, we all dressed up and walked to see Seattle’s famous Space Needle and rode up to the top.

We then walked back and got on the bus to the Ivar’s Salmon House for a delicious dinner. We walked out on the dock after dinner to watched the sunset then headed back to the hotel after a busy day.

FUN FACT OF THE DAY: They cleaned the ‘Gum Wall’ outside Pikes Place Market back in 2015 and removed 2,350 pounds of gum.
