Stay golden San Fran!

We had a busy day today as we tried to see everything the Golden City offers! In the morning, we hopped on a city tour with a fantastic guide to explore downtown San Francisco; we drove through Chinatown and visited Golden Gate Park. At the park, we saw the famous Japanese Tea Garden and learned how it was built on top of the desert.

Our bus dropped us off by the Golden Gate Bridge visitor center as adventure awaited. We walked across the bridge and saw the extraordinary city view across the ocean. The walk was 1.75 miles, and it was an epic experience!

If you’re in San Francisco, going to a Giant’s game is a must! We headed towards Oracle Park to see the game between the Giants and Detroit Tigers. The park scoreboard greeted the Grand Western Tour as we bathed in the sun and enjoyed our lunch. How cool is that!

At night, we walked to Chinatown and dined at Chinatown Restaurant. The owners showed us hospitality by serving us some of his signature dishes: potstickers, egg rolls, fried rice, orange chicken, and more. What a great way to wrap up our fantastic day in San Francisco!

Tomorrow we will visit Alcatraz National Park!
