The Happiest Day: Disney with The Grand Western Tour

Today with The Grand Western Tour was one we had all been counting down to. We spent the whole day at Disney, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.

We tried all the rides we could get to, and a few quickly rose to the top of the list. Space Mountain was a huge favorite, along with Indiana Jones and Star Wars Rise of the Resistance. And for anyone looking to cool off, Tiana’s Bayou did the trick, sending more than a few of us home a little soaked and a lot happy.

The best part of the day was the freedom. Everyone got to explore in groups of three, which meant we could wander wherever the magic took us, hop from ride to ride, and truly make the day our own.

There was also a whole lot of buzz around the Din Tai Fung reservations. A bunch of us headed over for lunch and got to enjoy some incredibly yummy Taiwanese food, a delicious little detour in the middle of all the excitement.

To make the day even more special, it was McKinley’s birthday! And really, is there any better place to celebrate a birthday than the happiest place on earth?
