Where the River Meets the Ocean: A Birthday Bash in Oregon

Today with The Grand Western Tour was another big driving day, but the destination made every mile worth it.

We made our way down to Oregon, where we are staying at a resort right at the mouth of the Rogue River, the very spot where it flows out into the Pacific Ocean. It is about as scenic as it gets.

Once we arrived, the celebrations began. We threw one big birthday party for everyone on the trip all at once, and it was a blast. The local firefighters treated us to a barbecue, there was cake to go around, and of course, no party is complete without a dance party to bring everyone together.

Afterward, a bunch of us decided the chilly weather was no match for a good river swim. Banks and Adele were the first to brave the cold water, setting the tone for everyone who jumped in after. It was cold, it was fun, and it was very much worth it.

Once we had our fill of the river, we headed inside to warm up in the indoor pool and hot tub, the perfect way to wind down after a day of driving and celebrating.

A birthday bash, a barbecue, and a river meeting the sea. Oregon is off to a wonderful start, and we cannot wait to see what tomorrow brings!
